PETRA-III, DESY, Hamburg, Germany (March 2024)

First time visited Hamburg. This city seems difference from the southern city, Stuttgart, where we lived more than 2 decades ago.

DESY is really huge and has unique open door policy, kind of shocking for new users.

Great to meet old friend and new friend here. The operation systems are extremely user friendly. Two Thumb Up!

On-site cafeterias are normally closed before 4:00 pm. So users better bring their own food and cook at DESY hostel. Even instant noodle tasted delicious when you were starving at mid night.
